Colin watched, breaking into a smile as he watched the older man muse…
Theodore studied Colin while he grew accustomed to the borrowed weapon. It appeared he knew a thing or two…the matter was his spirit. And, perhaps, his method. Theo watched him step to the side and loftily rose his blade to match the ensuing wide arc.
He was surprised by the force of the strike. The blades clanged loudly and Theo’s was forced down a few notches. He shook his head, hopped back and nodded.
“Good, quite good…force. You seem to favor the basic! Have a little more confidence—get creative. Maybe try a feint?”
He circled Colin a quarter before he braced his sword to his side in a second stance.
